Our hosts Solange and Domonique were very welcoming, friendly and helpful yet they took great care to ensure we had our privacy as well. We were aware of the lower beams in the bedroom and did experience a couple of bumps early on but it wasn't really an issue for us. The grounds and pool area are beautiful and the view is amazing. We were thankful to have such a lovely place to return to after sightseeing each day. Sophie's recommendations that we tried were wonderful too. We capped off our stay with a visit to the creperie, Le Repaire in a nearby quiet, non-touristy, hilltop village for lunch (8 minutes away) and the soap factory/store and really enjoyed both. It was a great way to spend our last day ... along with some pool time. We highly recommend a stay here. Private feedback: Hi Sophie, Thanks for everything. We really enjoyed our stay and absolutely loved meeting your parents. They were so welcoming and kind. The power outage the first night was unfortunate but they took such great care of us that it really wasn't an issue at all. They met us in the driveway when we returned after dinner in the dark with candles and lanterns and provided bottles of water as,well as a bucket of water outside our door first thing in the morning. We know they felt terrible but some things are simply out of their control. They handled the situation as well as anyone could have under the circumstances. The low beams upstairs had to be managed but a few bumps didn't bother us. The wifi was an issue throughout our week stay. Although Sophie was responsive the issue remained and was not effectively dealt with during our stay. The back of the cottage was in shade until mid afternoon, but the pool area was so lovely, we would have lunch there when at the property. See less

A beautiful stay in Alleins! Breath-taking views, in the midst of nature, surrounded by flowers - so peaceful. We spent days relaxing by the pool looking out across the valley, and evenings drinking rose under the stars. But if you want to explore Provence, and the beautiful villages of the Luberon, this would be a perfect base! Alleins is a few minutes walk, and is charming, pretty, and quiet - a real provençal village with a couple of good shops and restaurants. The apartment has amazing air-conditioning which kept it deliciously cool despite the intense heat! Everything is beautifully designed and really comfortable. You do have to remember to mind your head upstairs - but everything else more than makes up for that. Super comfy bed! Raphael and his parents were such warm hosts, they were so helpful and kind, and made sure we enjoyed our trip. They all speak really wonderful English (but kindly humoured me with my French!) There is also a very cute cat! We would love to return. See less

We were extremely pleased with the property and it’s setting. The views were stunning both from the house and from the swimming pool. The outside seating was great especially under the Veranda for breakfast. We hope to come back as we have fallen in love with the area.

Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage in dieser tollen Unterkunft. Der Ausblick ist genial und wir saßen gerne mit Decken auf der Terrasse (aufgrund des Wetters war es manchmal etwas kühl). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten abwechslungsreiche Ausflüge unternehmen. Der Pool war um diese Jahreszeit leider etwas zu kalt. Er liegt jedoch sehr schön und ist im Sommer sicher ein Genuss! Wir können die Gegend insbesondere auch zum Wandern sehr empfehlen. Da man Tür an Tür mit weiteren Feriengästen wohnt und die Wohnungen sehr hellhörig sind, kann es manchmal etwas lauter sein. Wir haben zuletzt beispielsweise den Fernseher der Nachbarn sehr deutlich gehört. Wir können diese Unterkunft jedoch sehr empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! See less

We voelden ons meteen thuis. Hoewel we ons eigen babybedje hadden meegenomen stond er boven al een babybedje klaar. Er was zelfs een babybadje met inzet die we regelmatig hebben gebruikt, erg fijn! De bovenverdieping is erg laag dus daar moesten we een klein beetje op letten. Het uitzicht over Alleins is fantastisch. Onderweg hadden we een paar dozen wijn gekocht en we mochten deze stallen in de wijnkelder. Bij ons afscheid kregen we zelfs een fles mousserende wijn cadeau van de vader van Raphael. A car is needed and you can easily reach beautiful towns such as Saint Remy and Aix-en-Provence. One thing to note, ceiling hight is limited in the bedroom but worked just fine for us.
